Personal statement:
Passionate and ambitious arts graduate with a keen interest in 2D traditional character animation. Self-motivated, hard-worker with an innate desire to solidify and enhance current skill base, and to work amongst skilled animators. Thoroughly enjoys new challenges. Flexible, proactive and with experience in the animation production industry.

Work Experience:

2011 Currently working as a contract 2d traditional animator for Reverge Labs on their game Skull girls.

2010-2011 - 7 months working as a junior celaction animator on a children's TV series called Poppy cat for King Rollo films.

2010- Freelance creating a set of 20 A4 cartoon turtle illustrations. The company GreenShadow, which is based in Hong Kong, wanted these illustrations for advertising the awareness of endangered turtles and fundraising.

2010- Freelance creating a set of Star-Caster science fiction illustrations for a client. The purpose of the illustrations was to show the environmental designs for the worlds as well as telling the story within a pitch that the client intended to show to Sony.

2009-2010- 6 months pre-production work in Shanghai/China working full time on background design for Glory & Dream studios:
I worked on background design for 3 months designing a number of areas for their current animated feature film project. Then for the next 3 months I went over to paint colour keys, do colour design and prop colour designs.

Personal interests:

I enjoy watching and participating almost all movement activities of which I’ve attended gymnastics, Tai Chi, Capoeira and Tae Kwon Do classes. I really enjoy watching the Olympics, dance and acrobatics. I like practising creative arts, drawing and paintings. Video games are an interest to me as well. I attended a kayaking course in August 2010, and have also, taken part in white water rafting along the Zambezi river. When I was younger I also, did some sailing and pride myself via maintaining an active lifestyle.
